This comes in the form of a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder powerplant paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This thrifty machine gets 33 miles-per-gallon in the city and 41 on the highway, while still managing to produce 128 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque.
2020 Hyundai Elantra Limited – Starting MSRP of $22,800
The Limited trim of the 2020 Elantra gets 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad and an eight-speaker Infinity premium audio system. 2020 Hyundai Elantra Sport – Starting MSRP of $23,800
Finally, the top-level Sport trim makes some, as the name suggest, “sporty” alterations to the Limited build. The engine gets upgraded to a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder that pumps out 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The rear suspension transforms into a sophisticated multilink offering with firmer tuning. Wheels are now 18-inches in size, made of alloy, and get grippier tires along with stronger brakes. A seven-speed automatic transmission is the only shifting option.
The interior of this trim gets more sporty touches, such as a flat-bottomed steering wheel and leather-upholstered front sport seats with heating. The optional Sport Premium package brings an 8-inch touchscreen, navigation, Infinity audio system, and Blue Link Connected Car services.
